Monash IVF group harnesses digital to improve patient experience

This new platform optimises sharing throughout treatment, providing patients and clinicians with a more efficient and transparent communication system.

Fuelled by the urgency to deliver a more streamlined patient journey, Monash IVF said the decision to embrace digital transformation was inspired by the need to evolve with patient expectations and advancements in healthcare.

Recognising the inefficiencies of traditional patient-clinician communication methods such as phone calls and paper forms, the Monash IVF Group acknowledged that a more dynamic, flexible, and scalable system was required.

Monash IVF implemented The Digital Front Door, powered by Personify Care which is anticipated to free up crucial time for clinical teams to focus on patient care.

Moreover, the Digital Front Door's flexibility supports the unique workflows across different Monash IVF sites, facilitating the Group's expansion across Australia.

It is equipped to handle the varying dynamics of patient journeys, including the continuing impacts of COVID-19.

Thierry Panthier, CIO at Monash IVF Group said, “As Monash IVF grows across Australia, supporting new teams to embrace the tech stack available to them is business critical.

“My team's role is to reduce the friction when we are onboarding new Monash IVF sites and support an enhanced patient experience that’s nuanced to a clinic's unique workflows and team.”

Panthier said Monash IVF Group is at the leading edge of IVF technology.

“And the patient experience needs to meet patient expectations without impacting human connection between patients and their primary fertility care team,” he added.

Perveen Arnold, patient services manager at Monash IVF Victoria said providing a seamless digital experience is a key step in supporting their patients.

“With the phenomenal support from Personify Care, we're taking our digital patient experience to the next level. This has been instrumental in efficient processes, accurate information sharing, and ensuring faster timelines to provide the best possible care for our patients,” she said.

Monash IVF Group said it is optimistic that the Digital Front Door will create an elevated patient experience and significantly boost operational efficiency.
