Half-finished Microsoft site does the Twitter rounds.

Microsoft has published an unfinished and error-riddled web site promoting its upcoming Office 2010 suite.

Microsoft posts half-baked Office 2010 site

The site, available on the internet at www.microsoft.com/office/2010, appears to be designed to include individual video presentations for each of the applications (Word, Excel etc) within Office 2010.

But at present each application links to a video on the forthcoming Windows 7 Operating System.

The site was discovered just after midday today by Microsoft evangelist Rafael Rivera, author of the Within Windows blog.

"Doesn't appear the site is fully ready for launch," he tweeted.

Update at 4:50pm: The site has since been taken offline. Microsoft has been contacted for comment.

Update at 5:20pm: The site is now operational, with the right videos linked.

Update at 6:15pm: The site is again taken offline.
