Kaspersky to protect Samba server

Security software developer Kaspersky Labs is bringing its anti-virus protection to Samba file servers.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Samba Server protects servers using Linux and FreeBSD. Kaspersky Labs designed the solution for easy installation and configuration, it said.


The product works on real-time virus scanning, which can be automated by setting a scanning schedule and can be configured for remote administration.
