The anti-phishing module of Internet Security 7.0 now includes databases from PhishTank, the service that provides community-based phish verification systems, where users submit details on suspected phishing sites.
The inclusion of the databases has broadened the range of anti-phishing resources available, Kaspersky claimed.
“We [Kaspersky Lab] actively support the PhishTank resource by providing it with all the information about phishing resources that are available to us,” said Nikolay Grebennikov, deputy director of innovative technologies at the Russia-based company, in a statement.
Details on availability and pricing were unavailable at the time of going to press.
