FTC encourages public to report spammers

By

The US Government has launched a website for victims of junk email to report spammers.

The Federal Trade Commission homepage contains the link for disgruntled users to report illicit email. The website also provides an anti-spam action plan, and links for reporting telephone marketers, identity theft and online transactions.

The initiative comes as the Government faces problems in implementing its national anti-spam law, dubbed CAN-SPAM.
