EnergyAustralia has named Glenn Stuttard as its new chief information security officer.

EnergyAustralia brings in CISO from Australia Post

Stuttard joins the energy company from Australia Post, where he spent four and a half years as its CISO and 11 years in total.

Before joining Australia Post, Stuttard spent almost 16 years at Tabcorp, working in a variety of senior technology roles.

He replaces Catherine Buhler, who left Energy Australia in December after almost five years.

According to her LinkedIn, Buhler is now executive director at Impleo, an IT and cyber security consultancy.

“We are pleased to welcome Glenn Stuttard as our chief information security officer,” an EnergyAustralia spokesperson said.

According to the spokesperson, Stuttard will now report to EnergyAustralia chief information officer Julie Bale.
