US-based power protection products vendor Emerson Network Power has launched two new incentives to Australian resellers working with master distributors Ingram Micro and J Mills.
Peter Spiteri, marketing manager at Emerson Network Power in Australia, said the two new incentives targeted resellers promoting Emerson products as value-adds to traditional PC and networking hardware sales.
"We're showing our resellers the benefit of combining a Liebert UPS with PCs, networks home electronics and specialist applications like VoIP and power over Ethernet equipment," he said.
The promotions would run concurrently until 17 December.
One, delivered via Ingram Micro and dubbed Leave it to Liebert, would offer rewards for sales of Emerson's Liebert uninterruptible power systems (UPS) to resellers anywhere in Australia except South Australia and Western Australia.
Leave it to Liebert would also be available via Emerson's eastern zone distributors, such as Proactive, SEMS, Power Quality, Tecvic, Black Box and Environmental Air. Different prizes would be offered depending on how much product was sold, he said.
Resellers may earn one of four Leave it to Liebert rewards -- a $10 peach telephone calling card, a $63 Logitech Quickcam Express web camera, a $190 Digitrex GK3000 DVD player valued at $190, or a $453 GKX-9000 DVD recorder.
The second, done by J Mills in Western Australia and South Australia, would dish out Coles Myer vouchers for each Liebert UPS product sold to resellers based in those states.
Spiteri claimed Emerson Network Power resellers already earned "more than 25 percent" margins on Liebert UPS sales, but the new promotions would "sweeten the deal".
"Resellers can keep the rewards for personal use or they can include them in their stock items to increase gross profit," he said. "Coles Myer vouchers for the J Mills promotion range in value from $30 to $500."
