The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2 said Tuesday that the International Organization for Standardization's (ISO)
ISO/IEC 17024 serves as a benchmark for certification of personnel in various professions.
"(ISC)2 has achieved a significant milestone as the first organization within the information technology sector to earn accreditation for personnel certification," James Duffy, (ISC)2 executive director, said in a prepared statement.
