Aruba and Itochu CTC take on Japan

Aruba Wireless Networks and Japanese system integration provider Itochu Techno-Science Corporation (CTC) have teamed up to sell Aruba's line of W-LAN switches in Japan.

The partners have delivered WLAN switching solutions to Waseda University, one of the top three Tokyo universities in Japan, which has chose CTC to deploy the Aruba's wireless LAN switching system.


A spokesman for Aruba said that the firms expected to accelerate sales of voice over wireless and WLANs in the Japanese market.

The firms are attempting to break merkets in finance, manufacturing and healthcare.
