Photos: First look at Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft's new, subscription version of Office.

The updated version of Office 365 ties in Microsoft's traditional productivity suite with the cloud-based software as a service it has touted to businesses since last year.

Up to five computers can run Office 365 on the same account, and apps can be "streamed" with Office on-demand to other Windows computers.

A Microsoft account is required to sign in to Office 365, which only runs on Windows 7 and 8.

The cloud integration means users get access to SkyDrive storage and Lync collaboration features.

Office 365 features the 2013 edition apps, like Word, with a Metro-like interface makeover.

Excel 2013.

PowerPoint 2013.

Outlook 2013, with social media integration. Microsoft has baked in features it gained through its acquisition of Yammer.

OneNote can use "Inking" with fingers or a stylus for handwriting.

Access 2013 offers several new templates.

Publisher 2013.
