SEC extends SOX 404 deadline

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission extended the Nov. 15 deadline for companies to comply with Section 404 of SOX. The SEC cited concerns about resource constraints at accounting firms and smaller public companies in granting the 45-day extension.
