Gongs handed to the cream of Australia's information security vendors.

About 800 delegates crammed into the ballroom at the Royal Pines resort on the Gold Coast last night to watch Australia's best in information security receive their honours in the third annual SC Magazine awards. Among those receiving trophies was John Reeman, founder of VMInformer, the first Australian-owned vendor to receive an award since the programme's inception.

The awards were sponsored by ArcSight, WatchGuard, Check Point and for the second year in a row, Astaro. Watch the video above for the winners' reactions to their honours.
