Review: Preview: Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
It’s been well over six months since Sony Ericsson ripped the covers off of its multimedia all–rounder, the Xperia X1. Since then we’ve seen it undergo a facelift with a new black paint job and, finally, it’s set to arrive.

So, what to expect? Well, this is very much a business–themed mobile, but with capability of seeing off Apple’s iPhone thanks to a mighty set of features.

Inside you’ll find HSDPA, HSUPA, Wi–Fi and 400MB of memory, with an SD slot for beefing that up. You also get Windows Mobile, which we have to say rather let’s the side down somewhat.

It is a dream to use though. The touchscreen is intuitive, the ‘arc slider’ keyboard a breeze for tapping out messages and it really isn’t too chunky either.
