Why Australia is a 'victim country' of cybercrime.

Queensland Police Service detective superintendent Brian Hay has branded Australia as "predominately a victim country" in the world of cybercrime. He told SC Magazine that "tens of thousands" of people sent millions of dollars to scammers overseas each month. Tracking those scammers down was a difficult international effort. The big question faced by police was how to prevent that flow of money in the first place.
