One of the "advantages" of being the head of a security team for a major company is that my email account is an easy first port of call for security product vendors to introduce themselves. Over the past couple of years, I have seen this means of communication grow exponentially.

Your "Crime watch" feature (SC August, p30) made for interesting reading - it's always good to get a snapshot of what the latest threats are. While I have the utmost respect for the industry experts quoted, I would have liked to have seen a little more comment from those charged with protecting their organisations: the CSOs and their teams.
