The first product from the Californian headquartered firm, which has its UK offices in Wilmslow, Cheshire, is the EdgeForce modular security system, which supports virus, spam and URL filtering; firewall; VPN, web caching and intrusion detection in a single unit.
ServGate says that the EdgeForce system can either work as a standalone unit or together with an existing firewall or VPN gateway to provide add-on services, such as for anti-spam facilities.
