Distributor Pixel Productions has cut a new distribution agreement with security and anti-virus developer Panda Software.

Panda Software was previously distributed in Australia by Marketing Results, formerly a subsidiary of Quadtel Limited.

Marketing Results and Quadtel International -- which were subsidiaries of Quadtel Ltd -- were placed into liquidation last July. In mid-2003, Phoenix IT bought the Marketing Results business and its assets.

Graeme Taylor, managing director at Pixel Productions said: 'We are certain that Panda Software's high quality products will respond perfectly to the needs of thousands of potential clients in the Australian anti-virus market,' Taylor said.

The distributor claimed that millions of users in 45 countries where Panda operates were using its anti-virus and malware technology, to protect PCs and networks.

It added that Panda offers international technical support all day, everyday and provided daily updates for combating new viruses.
