PatchLink completes SecureWave takeover
SecureWave has more than 1,700 customer worldwide, and its Sanctuary software contains policy enforcement tools to manage and monitor device and application use, to protect against data leakage and malware threats.

PatchLink, which offers security and vulnerability management solutions, said it will combine the Luxembourg-based company’s technology with its own to create a platform to secure enterprise servers and endpoints.

The two firms first announced details of the all stock merger late last month.

PatchLink hopes the acquisition of SecureWave will “capitalise on the complementary strengths of each company”, including asset discovery, real time vulnerability assessment, patching, network access and endpoint control, and enterprise compliance reporting.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
