Oracle schedules 51 fixes for Tuesday release

Oracle is planning to release 51 patches on Tuesday as part of its quarterly patch update, the database giant announced today.

Twenty-seven patches, five of which are remotely exploitable, are designated for the popular Oracle Database. The most severe bug contains a CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) rating of 6.5 out of 10.

Eleven fixes are slated for the Application Server, with seven of those remotely exploitable.

In addition, there are patches planned for E-Business Suite (eight), Enterprise Manager (two) and PeopleSoft Enterprise offerings (three).

In the last patch update in July, Oracle issued 45 fixes, nine more than it delivered in April.
