Nokia Prisms get colourful
Nokia will launch a pair of handsets this autumn for those who like their mobile phone to be seen.

Both models in the Prism range major on the design of the outer case: 'liquorice black' (aka shiny) face and a diamond-cut design back panel with laser-etched geometric patterns in light-refracting colours.

The up-market dual-band 3G, quad-band GSM 7900 Prism is among the first handsets from Nokia to use an organic LED screen that changes hue depending on the battery life and signal strength. There are 49 personalised screen colours to choose from, which also emanate from under the keypad.

The 7900 also has a 2 megapixel camera and 1Gb of internal storage.

The 7500 Prism is the budget GSM model with similar taste in exterior decoration and a 2 megapixel camera. But it can also store up to 1,500 songs on an optional-extra 2Gb microSD card.

Battery life will support up to nine hours of music play-back, said Nokia.
