Last chance for $1m of free storage kit

Australian organisations have until 5:00pm EST tomorrow (Friday) to apply for an offer of $1 million of free storage, software and services from NetApp.

Earlier this month, iTnews and NetApp put out a call to iTnews readers to participate in an open benchmarking exercise to assess NetApp's Virtualisation Guarantee.

One organisation selected from these submissions to host the benchmarking exercise will receive 50TB of free NetApp storage and services, which includes $850,000 of hardware, $50,000 of software and $100,000 of services.

The storage vendor's guarantee has been the subject of intense debate on iTnews forums in recent weeks.

Organisations can apply to host the benchmarking exercise here.
