Hub Australia hires Rebekah Murphy as its chief experience officer

The move comes as Hub focuses on expanding its workplace products and experiences across capital cities and local communities nationally, as well as evolving member experience and workplace strategies in line with the changing nature of work post-pandemic.

In her new role, Murphy will oversee Hub’s marketing and champion premium customer experiences; directing the strategy for the country’s premium flexible workspace brand and helping Hub steer the future of work in Australia.

Prior to stepping into her role with Hub Australia, Rebekah was a director on the executive leadership team at Diversified Communications Australia, whose portfolio of brands includes Mumbrella, Total Facilities and AOG Energy.

During her ten years with Diversified Communications Australia, Murphy worked across various areas of the business from commercial and business strategy through to product development, hospitality-led customer experience, marketing, and brand management.

Brad Krauskopf, CEO and founder of Hub Australia said, "Murphy is a seasoned marketing and customer experience leader, bringing 20 years of extensive experience to the Hub Australia team. As we look to grow our business, products and footprint nationally, hospitality-led customer experience and an industry-leading approach to this is going to be vital.

“Murphy’s ability to deliver innovative product strategies which identify new opportunities whilst navigating ever changing market challenges will be crucial as we evolve our offering and shape the future of workplaces in Australia.”

Murphy added, “With a strong marketing and product team already in place and an attractive market offering, one of my focusses will be on new product opportunities such as the new ‘Hub Local’ flexible work strategy which will see us partnering closely with communities at a regional and suburban level, as well as elevating our digital experience for customers.

“As the future of work remains a key priority for businesses, we will also be looking at strategies to leverage our internal expertise and data on employee experience, space utilisation and design. There is an exciting opportunity to make this readily available for the market, ultimately helping businesses inform their own workplace strategies.”

Founded in 2011, Hub is Australia’s largest privately-owned flexible workspace operator, with locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Newcastle.
