Tim Barker, vice-president of product management at BuildOnline, said the new hosted programme management module would allow firms to develop workflows for repeatable projects, standardise them for end-users, and monitor the status of projects.
Barker added that an end-user dashboard would tell staff where problems develop and help to identify the cause of delays.
Bob Godfrey, managing director for Northern Europe at BuildOnline, said in future the company might tailor its hosted project management system for other types of industry.
