Bruce Willis to battle internet villians in 'Die Hard 4'

Move over, Harrison Ford, you’re not the only action hero keeping computing safe on the silver screen.

In a sure sign of the increasing visibility of internet security, "Die Hard 4," where Bruce Willis’ John McClane character is set to battle internet terrorists, is slowly being assembled, according to media reports.


The first three installments of the "Die Hard" series were released in 1988, 1990 and 1995, creating one of the highest grossing action movie franchises of all time.

Len Wiseman, director of the "Underworld" vampire series, is reportedly in talks to direct the next "Die Hard" picture, according to CNN and other media outlets.

Ford starred in the thriller "Firewall" earlier this year to lukewarm box office receipts.

His character, Jack Stanfield, was a computer security specialist who designed a fool-proof firewall for a bank who must break into his own security system.
