Steve Herrod, CTO and senior vice president of R&D at VMware kicked off the second day of Virtualisation 2009 in Sydney today.
Steve Herrod, CTO during his keynote. It was a big conference hall and from this view it looks rather empty but it didn't feel that way.
On the Alphawest stand at Virtualisation 2009 the company was demonstrating a Nokia capable of running other mobile operating systems virtually.

The main stage at Virtualisation Forum 2009 was HUGE. VMware CTO Steve Herrod was only slightly taller than the massive white VMware letters behind him.
During VMware CTO Steve Herrod's keynote, he put up this very amusing slide. Apparently virtualisation not only saves money and time, it also tries to put divorce lawyers out of business.
After his keynote, VMware CTO Steve Herrod took part in a round table discussion with media. Look out for videos from this session real soon.

The massive VMware lettering on the stage was really very... big!
