The Mobile Application Performance Survey (MAPS) conducted by iTnews and HP revealed that mobile apps are no longer commodities to be published and forgotten.
Leading organisations manage and monitor their apps to deliver the best customer experience, safeguard brand reputation and continually improve their offerings.
Key findings from our 2015 survey of 376 IT decision-makers included:
- Nearly three quarters of organisations took development in-house
- Less than a quarter of organisations were deemed “serious” with more than 10 apps under management
- A less mature approach to app development was found in a third of organisations that didn’t measure app performance.
And with potentially disastrous ramifications for their brand, nearly a third or respondents relied for feedback on public comments their users posted to app stores.
