Websense has launched CyberSecurity Intelligence (CSI) services to provide sandboxing, forensic details and security expertise to help in-house IT security teams combat the latest threats.
Two services are offered: CSI: On-Demand and CSI: Live and both are run by Websense Security Labs. These include the online sandbox environment ‘ThreatScope', which provides organisations with current research and guidance needed to help protect them from cyber criminals and the loss of confidential information.
Carl Leonard, senior security research manager, EMEA at Websense, told SC Magazine that the CSI services offer a forensic analysis of attacks.
The CSI: On-Demand service is a completely online, on-demand sandbox and training environment that provides exclusive access to a wide variety of resources to maintain in-house security expertise, Websense said.
The CSI: Live service includes all of the online services of CSI: On-Demand, plus the ability to work directly with Websense Security Labs researchers on a three-day hands-on training on advanced security research methodologies and techniques; planning assistance, proactive testing of current security postures and full reviews of product deployment by Websense researchers; and a confidential forensic incident investigation to determine what happened, and future prevention, according to the company.
Charles Renert, vice president of the Websense Security Labs, said: “We spend 24-hours a day, seven days a week investigating and analysing the latest cyber attack trends and malware tactics.
