EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia Siemens Networks will all play a part in Telstra's trial of LTE (4G) mobile network technology, the roadmap for which we cover in some detail today (see our story and photos).

Senator Conroy's department has also tabled its Greenfields fibre bill - with no real surprises outside of its cost calculations. The real meat will be the subordinate legislation that underpins it, which is weeks away yet.
