EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

What a weekend in poor old Melbourne!

Today we have confirmation of the water damage at Datacom's Melbourne Globalcenter data centre plus a distributed denial of service attack levelled against a site managed by Melbourne web host, Web24, which is based in Fujitsu's Noble Park data centre.

It's a good thing there is a public holiday today! Hopefully it's business as usual tomorrow.
