EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Today Telstra and Optus faced off in the Federal Court over an an alleged abuse of Optus customer data by Telstra.

Whilst it's ancient history when one considers the death spiral of PSTN revenue (see Telstra's results yesterday), it retains our interest considering the millions of dollars at stake and calls to separate Telstra's retail and wholesale operations.
