EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

Microsoft has confirmed it will offer Australian students a large discount to purchase the forthcoming Windows 7 operating system.

Student prices in the United States have been set at US$30, with the poor Brits paying close to twice that amount due to their stronger currency. With the Australian dollar hovering just below the American, expect a price of around AU$30 to AU$40.
