EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

The assault on aerial hanging of NBN cables continues, but this time with the threat of vigilantes in trucks and 4WDs, rather than grassroots protests.

At least one lobby group for underground cables has reported an increase in callers expressing violent tendencies towards overhead cables. Things are getting ugly.

But it would be beautiful if you'd help us decide where iTnews is headed - simply fill in the 2009 iTnews Readership Survey and you'll go into the draw to win $500!
