EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Communications Minister Senator Conroy has developed a tendency to speak on behalf of ISPs - whether they like it or not! Last month he was announcing iiNet's support for internet filtering and this month, he claimed the NBN will allow service providers to offer 'uncapped' plans. NBN service providers Internode and Exetel provide another reality check today.

Also today, Ry Crozier reports from the AFACT/iiNet trial and Liz Tay takes the covers off an 'open source' car.
