EDITOR'S NOTE

Good Afternoon,

A quick read of any daily news summary at iTnews, and you are sure to get the feeling that the worlds of IT and telecommunications are converging at great speed.

But Telstra CEO David Thodey said today that the nation's incumbent carrier has no plans to morph into an IT services company.

On an unrelated note, I'll be hosting a live NetSeminar entitled "How to spark sales using social media" tomorrow at midday (Sydney time), with futurist Ross Dawson as a special guest. You can register here.
