The Commonwealth Bank's former head of IT service delivery Keith Hunter has pleaded not guilty to two charges of bribery offences in NSW Central Local Court today.

Hunter was arrested at his home in Surry Hills yesterday following an investigation into almost $2 million in suspected corrupt payments NSW Police alleges were made to two of the bank's former staff.
But the 61 year old today plead not guilty to charges that he - along with another former CBA IT executive - were involved in a corrupt relationship with CSC subsidiary ServiceMesh.
NSW Police claim Hunter and the other IT manager awarded ServiceMesh a "lucrative contract without putting it to public tender", later receiving payments from the company in return.
Almost $2 million in suspected corrupt payments have been frozen by police.
Hunter was today granted bail as long as a number of conditions are met.
He must report to NSW Police at Surry Hills station each day, surrender his passport, stay inside the state and is barred from corresponding with the second IT executive - understood to be former general manager of IT engineering Jon Waldron - who NSW Police are currently looking to speak to.
His case has been adjourned until April 1 when he will appear at Sydney's Downing Centre.
Hunter served as the bank's head of IT delivery services for three years until last December, when he stepped down for "personal reasons".
He joined CommBank in 2011 as its executive general manager of infrastructure and operations, following a previous long-term stint at Visa in which he last worked as its global head of operations.
"We have no tolerance for any illegal activity by any employee and we take every situation seriously," a CBA spokesperson said.
"It is not appropriate to further comment while this matter is before the court."
