EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Today we have updates from Nextgen and Telstra on their efforts to reconnect flood-ravaged Queensland.

We also look at the sentence given to an Adelaide man that created a virus to steal credit card information and commit fraud. The penalty is - in my view - a little soft. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on the matter.

FEATURED COMMENT

"This is exactly the reason why businesses should never outsource the entire farm to cloud or SaaS organisations at the risk of not being able to do business at all !!! Always maintain at least some capability to continue doing business in-house or with a separate hosting provider. Nothing worse than a business who has customers but can't process their orders... or worse their payment. "
