EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

The Federal Government's Digital Economy Future Directions paper provides scarce new information to regular readers of iTnews, but it does make for some interesting reading as a broad statement on policy direction.

Ben Grubb focuses on one small part of the paper this morning, in which the Government vows to solve the internet and media industries' biggest bugbear, illegal file-sharing.
