Linfox is on the hunt for its second chief information officer in just over two years after Morgan Hurwitz resigned from the trucking and logistics giant.

Hurwitz left the company several weeks ago. His next moves are unclear.
The company's general manager for strategy architecture and governance Andrew Littleford is serving as acting CIO while the company undertakes a global search for Hurwitz's replacement.
A spokesperson for Linfox confirmed the move but declined to comment further, citing company policy.
Hurwitz joined the trucking and logistics giant as its CIO in May 2014, after its previous tech boss John Ansley was lured away to rival Toll Holdings. Ansley has since left Toll, with former British American Tobacco executive Francoise Russo subsequently taking over the role.
During his time at the company, Hurwitz oversaw a significant expansion of the company’s big data capabilities. He recently revealed that the company now asks subcontractor truckies to sign an EULA before they begin work so Linfox can collect data on their location and delivery times.
Prior to joining Linfox, Hurwitz served as CIO for a number of other major companies, including Shell and Orica.
Hurwitz declined to comment.
