Australia’s public transport smartcard ticketing systems are rapidly being superseded by the next generation ticketing solutions already up and running in cities around the world.
It might take years, but these new ticketing systems will eventually filter down under and change the way we catch public transport all over again.
In fact two of Australia’s biggest cities - Brisbane and Melbourne - are currently in the market for a refresh of their respective public transport ticketing solutions, Go Card and Myki.
