Election 2010 - the ICT vote

Julia Gillard’s Australian Labor Party gave us the National Broadband Network and the controversial internet filter, now on hold until after the polls close on August 21.

Tony Abbott says his Coalition will wind back the NBN but as the party that first raised the notion of online censorship it’s likely that measure will receive bipartisan support no matter who sits in the Lodge next month.

To help you decide how to cast your ballot we compile the latest news and views from the IT industry on topics such as the NBN, net filter, telecommunications regulation, IT and tax incentives to help individuals and small businesses stay on their feet.
