EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

Today we open with a Ry Crozier exclusive on a lawsuit filed by software giant CA against a Sydney developer that coded a tool for migrating applications off CA's database onto IBM's DB2.

Crozier also spent the day monitoring the schoolyard tactics of the major parties stalling debate on the Telstra split bill yesterday, and reported on the war of words between wholesale network operators and Senator Conroy.

We also have a look at the Government's response to the cybercrime inquiry.

FEATURED COMMENT

"Did I misread something? I thought "...being able to reduce real prices for all products and nominal prices for all products, except the basic service offering." meant they expected to be able to reduce cost to end users. Yet the following paragraphs seem to indicate AAB see the statement as meaning that prices will rise??? Is this Turnbull accounting 101? "
