EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

NBN Co has informed the industry it will release details of where it plans to build its 200 points of interconnection around the nation within a fortnight - a crucial piece of information ISP's and other service providers need to plan their own networks.

Also on networks: you're invited to join Dr Kevin McIsaac, Craig Maynard and I live on the site to discuss the future of networking in the data centre this coming Tuesday (March 30) from Midday. It will be a good opportunity for a "101" class in fibre channel over ethernet (FCoE). Register here for details.
