Good morning,

Followers of the iiNet vs the film industry case will recall the mention of deep packet inspection (DPI) as an option to measure the amount of BitTorrent traffic running across ISP networks in Australia.

Ignoring the potential limitations of the Telco Act for a moment when it comes to DPI (something the case is testing), iTnews look at what is possible with DPI on this front.
