EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

The National Broadband Network company has announced some key appointments - including a CFO sourced from CEO Mike Quigley's old stomping ground, Alcatel-Lucent.

Meanwhile, the service providers that bid together for NBN Mark I, TERRiA, have reformed in a lobbying effort to ensure a "competitive" national broadband network rollout. One suspects the biggest fear the group has is Telstra gaining a large share in NBN Co by vending in its assets.
