Telstra Wholesale has revealed it will begin migrating customers across to a new "one-stop" service portal from today.
Acting group managing director Glenn Osborne told iTnews that customers would be cut over to the site in four tranches over the next two months.
"As of Wednesday this week we're launching to our first tranche of customers a new online portal," he said.
"We want to make sure we get it right so we're doing roughly 15 [customers] at a time. We'll get them on, up and running and then roll out to the next batch.
"It's probably our largest investment in the past couple of years around online systems and something we're really excited about.
"The integration we have with our customers is very important."
The site brought functions like ordering, service assurance, outage advice, product information and DSL line testing tools into a single place for customers, mainly ISPs and other service providers.
Telstra Wholesale also revealed strong take-up rates for its business data access solution (BDAS) launched in July last year.
Part of a body of internal simplification work known as the Data Evolution Program, BDAS streamlined national zoning, pricing and provisioning for previously separate data access products.
Telstra launched with six customers using BDAS. That number had now grown to 36, according to Telstra Wholesale's executive director of product and marketing Terry Scerri.
"[We've] signed up more than 1,000 services [under BDAS] in a nine-month period," Scerri said.
The scope of inclusions under BDAS had continued to expand since launch and further expansion was in the works, according to Scerri.
Telstra Wholesale last year launched a 'lite' version of BDAS, available at 560 mostly metropolitan exchanges, that targeted SME service providers.
Scerri said Telstra was continuing to work on simplifying its fixed and mobile backhaul products under the Data Evolution Program.
"The program is continuing on a number of different levels," he said. "We're continuing to roll it out as identified."
