Google is working in partnership with Adobe to provide a better Flash experience on Chrome.The companies unveiled the initiative yesterday, after Google announced the initial integration of Flash Player with Chrome.Google said that it is working with Adobe to "help define the next-generation browser plug-in API" which "aims to address the shortcomings of the current browser plug-in model".The companies worked together on the Open Screen Project, an online collaborative development to improve web interaction and innovation, and the Adobe's senior director of Flash Player engineering, Paul Betlem, said in a blog post that both companies would work together again."Adobe and Google are collaborating to take the Flash Player experience to the next level by supporting a deeper integration with Google's Chrome browser, " he added.Chrome will now come with a Flash Player pre-installed and users will receive Flash updates via Google's auto-update tool. The search firm claimed that the partnership will improve the Chrome experience."These improvements will encourage innovation in both the HTML and plug-in landscapes, improving the web experience for users and developers alike," the company said.
