AAPT has lifted its head of international carriers to general manager of its wholesale division.
Stephen Dunn held the international carriers role since November 2007. He was at PowerTel, the provider bought that year by AAPT's parent company, Telecom NZ.
He is one of three promotions to the senior management team this week.
Mark Rafferty took up the position of general manager of business solutions. He was AAPT's Queensland manager and held the same position at PowerTel.
Nick Saphin was appointed general manager of consumer and corporate marketing.
AAPT chief executive officer Paul Broad said he looked forward to ramping up the consumer, business and wholesale divisions.
Broad recently outlined AAPT's market strategy, particularly in the consumer business that he said was a "problem child".
He told investors the carrier was dumping low-value customers to make more money.
It recently launched a consumer broadband product with unlimited off-peak downloads.
