JBoss extends relationship with SeeWhy

Red Hat's JBoss middleware operation has extended its relationship with event intelligence platform SeeWhy Software to ensure tighter integration of the two platforms..

SeeWhy said that it has been working to build tight integration between the companies' products following demand from the JBoss community.

The relationship will specifically provide real-time visibility and exception detection at runtime for JBoss jBPM processes.

SeeWhy claimed that its customers have achieved up to a 900 percent increase in performance by embedding event intelligence into processes.

The processes become much more intelligent by "self tuning" each process instance to optimise performance.

SeeWhy's event-driven business intelligence platform enables customers in industries such as financial services, telecoms and retail to optimise the performance of customer-facing business processes like event-based marketing, demand sensing, fraud detection and online customer experience.

These capabilities help companies to increase revenues, reduce costs and reduce risks, the company said.

Pierre Fricke, director of product line management for SOA at Red Hat, said: "Through tight integration and our expanded relationship with SeeWhy, Red Hat's JBoss customers will benefit from faster deployment and JBoss-specific business activity monitoring.

"JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform and JBoss jBPM customers in particular will be able to benefit from real-time visibility of processes executing."
