EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

Qantas is finalising a major restructure of its IT team that will see up to 100 staff undertake "fundamental" new roles and the entire division split into four units.

And Commonwealth Bank has become a technology vendor in its own right, launching an Android-based tablet and app store it hopes will be used as a next-generation point-of-sale system.
