EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

As an editor, I can sympathise with the poor trader who hit the "billion" button instead of the "million" one on a big trade, causing the Dow Jones to fall by some 1000 points yesterday.

We can get the hardware, the software and the network right, but humans are another matter altogether!

Today we also ask why Apple's iPhone got special treatment in a handset warranty undertaking agreed between the ACCC and Vodafone.
